Over the past 15 years I have gained solid experience in marketing and sales/business development support roles with the most recent being in the not-for-profit sector – in conservation and healthcare. Prior to working for Corporate Nature, I have worked in the role of Engagements and Partnerships Coordinator at the Queensland Trust for Nature (QTFN), a progressive conservation charity. My role focussed on the development and rollout of a fundraising strategy in addition to other key marketing and communications initiatives to gain better brand and community awareness. Prior to the commencement of my role at QTFN, I was at Cancer Council Queensland (CCQ), working on critical appeal fundraising campaigns. Previous to CCQ I was part of a dedicated HQ marketing team at professional services firm, RPS – supporting 18 offices across Australia for over 5 years. With a strong ability to communicate both written and verbally, I have a warm, genuine yet professional demeanour with the ability to engage and develop a rapport with a wide variety of people. I have experience developing a range of communication pieces including collateral and copy, client/customer newsletters, project summaries and media releases. From a business support perspective I have experience in the preparation of client proposals and presentations, managing successful responses to national and state tenders (including major government departments). I have developed tools and templates for use in business development activities and have been involved in monitoring key client activity via major client plans.
